Counselling for Disability and Chronic Illness
Living with disability or chronic illness presents some unique challenges.
New diagnoses can bring grief, or the need to re-evaluate and re-assess.
Changes to how we live, work, exercise, and relate to others, can be difficult to navigate.
We live in a world that does not support diversity of ability or appearance.
It’s my mission to create a space that is anti-ableist, where all people feel welcome to express their feelings, wants and needs.
I have lived experience with disability and chronic illness, and know how much our lives can be affected, not only by our bodies or brains, but by the environment and society around us.
